POSITION TITLE: Food Service – Substitute
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current TB test.
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Accurately count, weigh and measure.
- Follow instructions and take initiative in performance of assigned task.
- Lift a minimum of 40 pounds to 33 inches occasionally.
ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must work in a hot, humid environment.
- Must wear non slip bottom shoes.
REPORT TO: Food Service Manager
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must be able to work 6 hours per day.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Interact with staff, students, faculty, and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Portion food into appropriate quantities per recipe or as instructed.
- Wash pots, pans, and other items using dish machine or three (3) compartment sink.
- Serve food according to the recipe or as instructed.
- Disassemble serving line and clean serving area.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Report to work when called by a Food Service Manager.
- Dress comfortable (Dark Pants and plain top) and appropriately groomed.
- Perform assigned task
- Adhere to all school district and building rules and regulations.
- Utilize proper hand washing techniques.
