Persons to help students with behavioral concerns and collection of data to monitor student’s progress. Help students develop self- monitoring strategies and appropriate behaviors.
High School Diploma required.
Job Description
- The person will keep data (daily) on the targeted behaviors so that goals can be measured and adjusted as needed.
- The person will address inappropriate behaviors with techniques to reduce the disruption level for the targeted student as well as others.
- The person will address all inappropriate behaviors by the targeted student, ad will use office referrals as a last resort.
- Behavior Coaches are to address behavior concerns only, not academic concerns.
- The behavior coach will remain in close contact with case manager, parents and principal as needed.
- Behavior Coach hours will be 29 hours per week during the time frame of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. The principal of the building will set the schedule based on the needs of the child.
