POSITION TITLE:   Payroll Specialist 

 

FLSA:                      Exempt Administrative

 

REPORTS TO:        Deputy Superintendent                             

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   12-month employment (250 days) with benefits

 

QUALIFICATIONS:         

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Recordkeeping on all leave taken by certified and classified staff.
  2. Assist staff with correct accounting of time.
  3. Reconcile pay information.
  4. Make necessary payroll adjustments regarding pay, benefits, deductions, etc.
  5. Reconcile Teacher Retirement and Non-Teacher Retirement contributions for each payroll.
  6. Maintain payroll records.
